It's the last few hours for my Mary's Ladies campaign! 


It features the Mary's Ladies Omnibus: 600+ pages of intrigue, true history and closed-door clean romance - stories you won't be able to put down! 

Follow three courageous heroines—and Mary Queen of Scots herself—in 16th-century Scotland, where forbidden romances, deadly secrets, and political intrigue intertwine in the beautiful landscapes of the Scottish Borderlands.

Final Stretch Goal - Research Notes!

We are only a couple of backers away from passing the final stretch goal, where all backers of £20 or more will get my Research Notes - photos and notes on the many Mary Queen of Scots sites I visited when I was researching for the books.

Did you see that I'm running another campaign for Scottish books, this time based around the story of Mary Queen of Scots?

 A feisty English heiress on the wrong side of a war-torn border, divided from a handsome Scottish laird.

A French doctor from the slums of Paris yearning for a rich gentlewoman who is way beyond his reach.

A fiercely independent lady-in-waiting who doesn't need a man, and the Highland laird who conceals his desperate need for a wife.

A love divided, a love beyond, a love concealed...


MEET THEM ALL

...in the pages of the Mary's Ladies Omnibus: 600+ pages of intrigue, true history and closed-door clean romance - stories you won't be able to put down!
Set in 1566, at a time when Mary Queen of Scots was dealing with a wastrel husband, power-hungry nobles and English raiders attacking her southern border, through these books you'll encounter her authentic history mingled with fictional (and some real!) romance.

Following on from my last update, all bar one of the missing backers has been tracked down, so everyone should have received their digital items from the campaign. If you haven't yet, check your BookFunnel library: https://my.bookfunnel.com to find your eBooks (or see my last update for more details).

Print books should have arrived for all but one backer whose order has just gone in 😎 Let me know what you think of them!

What next?

I'm in the process of writing the next Lady Persi book. When that is complete, I plan on running a campaign for the first 3 books in the series (book 3 is already written 🙃 - long story!). If you want to find out when it launches, click the image below and then click the 'Notify me on launch' button.

I'll set up tiers so that if you already own Partridges, you'll be able to just add the new books.  😎  It'll be exciting to have a matching set! (I'm looking forward to seeing them too!!)

The headline says it all really - for those of you who have filled in your questionnaires (👀 looking at you 5 backers who haven't completed the surveys yet!) I sent out eBooks yesterday, and placed orders for all the print books.

I was really excited last night when the hardback sample arrived from the printer! It's absolutely gorgeous - I hope these images show it off properly:

The gold foiling on the hardcover is amazing and glints in the light, and the dustjacket is so festive and beautiful. The interior pages are white so they show off the colour images really well 😎

And the edges and end papers! Oh my!! I love how the Victorian wallpaper design makes it looks so luxurious.

If you ordered the hardback during the campaign, you can add the sprayed edges as an add-on during the questionnaire. Or you should be able to add a hardback if you didn't order one already 😊
